Overview

Central Oregon Community College is committed to providing timely support to all faculty by offering a variety of options for instructional technology training and hands-on assistance; exposing faculty to existing and emerging instructional technologies.

• Improve learning opporutnities for students through the appropriate integration of educational content delivery systems and instructional tools.
• Help faculty to gain proficiency in the use of instructional technology tools.
• Help faculty to select, then use, technology to enhance learning.
• Help faculty design, prepare and present engaging and effective instructional content that can be re-used and that enhances efficiency.
• Work with the COCC ITS Department to meet the ITS Goals, specifically in the "Staff Development" and "Curriculum" categories.
• Work to meet the COCC Board Mission and Goals .
• Fulfill the "Instructional Technology Coordinator" job description.
